How Much It Actually Costs to Have Perfect Skin Like a Celebrity

If you had all the money in the world, how much would you spend on your skincare routine? Would you keep it minimal, stick to the brands you've been using for years, or would you go all out on $500 face creams, fillers, and lasers? Would you do everything in your power, no matter the cost, for perfect, youthful skin?

For us, this is an interesting hypothetical, but for celebrities, it's a reality. It's in a celebrity's job description to look young for as long as possible-to have smooth, even skin that requires minimal retouching. So how much are they really willing to pay for it?

Whenever we interview celebrities, we always ask them to talk about their favorite products and treatments (and then, of course, we furiously google how much they cost). But we don't always get the full story. So, we did some digging to put together a comprehensive list of five celebrities' skincare routines and costs. (Some of the prices here are approximations, but they give you an idea.)

While some lower-maintenanceВ regimens involve DIY beauty treatments and facials under $150, others boast up top-tier serums and professional treatments in the $3000 range.В Curious to see how much Gwyneth Paltrow, Kim Kardashian, and more spend on skincare? Just keep scrolling.В

Olivia Culpo

A model and former beauty queen, Olivia CulpoВ is diligent about her skincare routine, but not to excess. She's opened up to us before about her struggle with acneВ and the steps she takes to treat it, including Mario Badescu's tried-and-true spot treatment, DIY face scrubs, and regular peels with esthetician Leslie Kritzer of Skin WorshipВ (whose signature facial runs for a reasonable $180). The only extravagant part of Culpo's arsenal is a couple ofВ products from La Mer; but overall, her routine isn't too different from your average skincare aficionado.

The only truly affordable part of Bosworth's routine is the coconut oil she uses as a body moisturizer.В

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow's skincare routineВ can be only described as pure extravagance, which probably comes as no surprise. At home, Paltrow mostly uses products from her own skincare line, GoopВ by Juice Beauty, the least expensive of which are her $90 cleansing balmВ and eye cream.В

But the pu pu platter of professional treatments is where Paltrow'sВ price tag really skyrockets. In the name of anti-aging, Paltrow will try anything, including ancient bee sting therapies, vitamin IV drips, and intensive lasers, one of which she swears took "five years off her face" for a price of approximately $3000.
